UAE Statement Converter started from ExactSum, our B2B product for lenders and financial services companies.

About a year ago, I started talking to lenders. These were companies reviewing hundreds of bank statements every day as part of their affordability assessments. Not simple personal statements with a dozen transactions - I'm talking about statements from trading companies, hospitality businesses, and contractors. Hundreds of pages. Thousands of transactions.

The Format Problem

What struck me was the variety. Every bank does things differently.

Emirates NBD lays things out one way. First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) does it another. Mashreq and ADCB each have their own quirks - multi-currency lines, Arabic and English side by side, statement layouts that change depending on the account type.

For anyone processing more than a handful of statements, this inconsistency was painful. Teams were spending hours manually extracting data, or using generic PDF tools that mangled half the output.

So we built ExactSum - a proper analysis platform with income verification, debt tracking, and risk flagging. Enterprise stuff for enterprise problems.

The Question That Kept Coming Up

But then accountants started finding us. Bookkeepers. Small business owners. People who didn't need affordability scoring or compliance dashboards.

They just wanted to convert a PDF to Excel.

That's it. Upload a statement, get clean transaction data out. No training. No sales calls. No enterprise pricing.

We already had the parsing technology. We'd already solved the hard problems - figuring out where tables start and end, handling multi-line descriptions, dealing with the quirks of the major UAE bank formats.

So we built a simpler interface on top of it.

What UAE Statement Converter Does

Upload a PDF. Get Excel or CSV. That's the product.

The same AI that processes complex commercial statements for lenders now handles your Emirates NBD current account or your client's ADCB business statement. Same accuracy. Much simpler interface. Files come out ready for Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, and Tally.

Free tier for occasional use. Paid plans if you're processing volume.

If you need the full analysis suite - income verification, risk flags, debt patterns - ExactSum is still there for that.

But if you just need your transactions in a spreadsheet, this is the tool.
